(Praia, Cabo Verde) City Hall is conducting tests of drones to monitor the evolution of the construction of the capital city of Cabo Verde . The city council wishes to improve their performance in the management and territorial planning.
According to the Councilman for Urbanism, Housing, Information Technology and Administrative Modernization in the City of Praia, the new technology is a mobile, unmanned vehicle that can fly over the city and capture still and moving images on the ground.
Rafael Fernandes said that the main objective is to simplify and save time in the process of inspection in construction and buildings.
The City Hall wants an update in terms of territorial and urban development, with the emphasis on drone technology in the inspection and monitoring of city building projects.
