PAWTUCKET – The Pawtucket Public Library announces the following programs for teens: Teen Anime Club

Do you know a teen that loves to watch anime?  Are you a teen bursting to talk about your favorite shows and characters?

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join other fans of Japanese animation to hang out, get to know some new anime, and enjoy snacks provided by the library on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Campbell Auditorium.  The program is free and no registration is required.

For more information, call the Teen Librarian at 401-725-3714 x 221 or email sbloom@pawtucketlibrary.org.

Babysitting class

Are you a pre-teen or teen looking to earn a little extra money by babysitting?  Do you often look after younger siblings?

If so, then you’ll definitely want to check out this class offered by CCRI nursing students for teens 10 and up on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library auditorium.  You’ll learn excellent tips and techniques to use when caring for younger children.  Best of all it’s free.  Bring a bag lunch as there will be a break in the middle of the class.

Register at the Reference desk or call 401-725-3714 ext. 221.
