Prime Minister Neves is visiting the Cape Verdean community in New England


 

March 22, 2013 – The diplomatic representations of the Republic of Cape Verde to the United States, the Embassy in Washington DC and the Consulate General in Boston, have the honor of informing you that His Excellency the Prime Minister Jose Maria Neves will be in Washington, D.C., March 27th-30th, 2013, for a first official visit to the White House.

Prime Minister Neves will also visit the Cape Verdean community in New England from March 30ht to April 2nd, with meetings in Boston, Brockton, New Bedford, East Providence and Pawtucket.

SONY DSCThe Community is invited to the following public events, which are opportunities to listen and talk with the Prime Minister about the topics of his agenda and about recent developments in Cape Verde

MARCH 30, 2013 (Saturday)

10:00 AM  to 11:30AM – Meeting with the Community in New Bedford at the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park, located at 33 William Street.

12:30 PM to 14:30PM – Meeting with the CV Community at the Cape Verdean Progressive Center, located at 329 Grosvenor Street, East Providence

3:00 PM to 4:30 PM – Meeting with the Community at the CACD, located at 120 High Street Pawtucket

MARCH 31 (Sunday)

1:00 PM – Mass at Saint Edith Stein Church in Brockton, located at 71 E. Main Street

3:30 PM to 5:00 PM – Meeting with the Community at the Hall of the Church of Saint Edith Stein

5:30 PM to 7:00 PM – Meeting with Community in Boston, at the Dorchester House Multil Service Center, located at 1353 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester

ALL MEETINGS AND THEY ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
